SENSation of a year
by Julien Fournier
The hopes for Ottawa Senators making playoffs this year was not that great at the start of the year. Most hockey experts predicted them coming in maybe 9th place.
The Sens overcame a lot this year with bad goal tending from Leclaire and countless injuries from key players, the team overcame this and ended up going on a 13 game win streak.
At the start of the streak the Senators were out their top line, their two defence men and their starting goaltender, yet the team stepped up and were the hottest team in the NHL from the end of January to the start of February and it paid off.
The team is now heading into playoffs confident with how each team member can produce on any given night. For all the stats on the team and everything going on check out their official site http://senators.nhl.com/index.html.
